Area Sales Manager Central & North Europe (m/f/x), DE/EN, Industry, Home Office Germany

What to expect

  • Development and implementation of the sales strategy for each customer target group for an optimal increase in turnover 
  • Expansion and development of the existing customer portfolio 
  • Preparation of technical offers
  • Management of the entire sales process together with other departments: internal sales, R&D…
  • Strategic sales negotiations 
  • Direct contact and technical expert for the customers 
  • Process optimisation through the introduction of an internal follow-up procedure together with the internal sales team 
  • Marketing actions: participation to trade fairs, market studies

Your qualifications

  • You have a technical education (fluid mechanics or similar) and you bring at least 5 years of experience in sales field service on the German market, ideally in an international environment and with premium products.  
  • Ideally, you have specialised in the field of fluid mechanics and bring extensive knowledge of industrial gas installations and medical devices.
  • You are a motivated team player with a hands-on mentality and you are passionate about selling technical products and solutions.
  • High degree of initiative as well as an independent and goal-oriented working approach
  • You have excellent communication and presentation skills.  
  • You are able to make complicated technical solutions easier to understand for the customer - also in English. French or Spanish is a plus.
  • You are an assertive person with very good negotiating skills.
  • Customer satisfaction and building trusting, long-term customer relationships are a priority for you.
