Your tasks:
- Handle all types of groups enquiries (including schools), starting from the initial enquiry (telephone, emails, booking platform) to the end of their booking
- Coordinate and process all administrative phases of group contracts; book orders, secure deposits, modification or cancellation, invoicing and payments for group ticket sales, group tours, pre-sales tickets and VIP tour reservations
- Maintain database and track Group Sales leads, inquiries, lost business, sales revenue
- Make best use of the customer relationship management system to its best advantage in order to achieve attendance goals and deepen engagement with constituents (creation of several newsletters per year)
- Create reliable and actionable reports on group sales, forecast, and new prospects
- Build and maintain relationships with travel trade and tourism partners
- Manage various local sales and marketing partnerships
- Work with the concierge organization to build the venue's presence in the hospitality industry
- Attend travel industry tradeshows and hospitality networking events to promote the venue's and develop strong positioning of group visit offerings
- Participate in related sales activities, FAM events, programs, sales missions and tradeshows to achieve the sales targets
- Work cross-functionally to coordinate occasional special events (open days for teachers, B2B breakfast…) as needed
- Identify and pursue strategic opportunities to attract group visitors.
Your profile:
- Completed apprenticeship in sales & first successful sales experience in a similar position
- German and English fluently; French is a plus.
- MS-Office and Eudonet/CRM-Management knowledge are desirable.
- Sales talent, organizational skills, and hands-on mentality.
- Affinity for arts & culture is an advantage.
