OUR INTERNATIONAL GRADUATE VIE PROGRAM

The VIE International Internship Program (Volontariat International en Entreprises or Volunteer for International Experience) allows young Europeans to work abroad for a French company for between 6 to 24 months. It is run by a French public institution called Business France. You will get the possibility to experience and explore new challenges, having a lot of benefits from joining Altran and taking a stepping stone for your international career together with a great community of VIEs.
 
 Besides an attractive compensation we offer a subsidy towards accommodation, as well as a german language course of three months.
 
 To participate in our graduate program you must be between 18 and 28 years old and be a European citizen.

YOUR TASKS
  • Advancing new technologies and solutions in our daily work as development engineers in our core areas: Infotainment/Connectivity, Autonomous Driving/Driver Assistance Systems, Drive/Electromobility, Interior/Exterior Development or Production Planning/Logistics
  • Hands-on implementation of your know-how in projects along the vehicle development cycle
  • Collaboration in the creation of innovative concepts for the automobile of the future
  • Active advancement and independent follow-up of subject-specific topics
  • Evaluation, documentation and presentation of results
YOUR PROFILE
  • Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering, computer science, automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, materials science, ergonomics, physics or industrial engineering
  • Practical experience in the automotive industry in one of the above-mentioned areas acquired through internships, working student activities or a final thesis in a technical environment desirable 
  • Organizational ability, quality awareness, structured working methods and analytical competence
  • Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for new technologies and innovations
  • Fluent in English and advanced knowledge in German
