Your responsibilities
- Business Strategy: You develop and implement the right business strategy for your product portfolio, aligning it with the company's goals and resources. You are in charge of creating business cases for new opportunities, including revenue, return of investment, payback and growth.
- Sales development: You are in charge of the development and expansion of the existing customer portfolio. As the direct contact and technical expert for the customers, you prepare technical offers and manage sales negotiations. You ensure that the regulatory standards are respected throughout the sales process.
- Key role between the company & the customers: You participate in relevant trade shows to increase the company's visibility and find new business opportunities. You have a strategic role as the company's international ambassador.
- Continuous improvement: You participate in technical and quality reviews to ensure that new business proposals meet or exceed customer specifications and requirements. You analyze existing customer and market requirements and identify future customer needs at an early stage to ensure that their projects and products stay competitive.
What is expected from you
- Educational background: Master's degree in Marketing, Business or Engineering.
- Professional background: international work experience of 20 years in the field of business development/sales management working with OEM customers within the fields of plastics industry/medical devices/medical diagnosis
- Knowledge of the EC and ISO 13485 regulatory environment
- You are a motivated team player with a hands-on mentality and you are passionate about selling technical, tailor-made products and solutions.
- High degree of initiative as well as an independent and goal-oriented working approach
- You have excellent intercultural, communication and presentation skills.
- You are an assertive person with very good negotiating skills.
- Languages : You speak English and German fluently.
