Head of HR department (m/w/x), Non-food Retail, EN/FR, Belgium

Your tasks:

With motivation, drive and enthusiasm, you live the corporate culture and ensure its effective implementation in the different areas of the company:
  • Professional leadership, motivation and further development of employees
  • Recruiting, staff development and HR administration (checking employment contracts, data transfer, time recording, data maintenance, payroll, ...)
  • Implementation of legal innovations and changes
  • Coordination of operational and strategic personnel policy processes
  • Close cooperation with related departments to ensure regular coordination and ensure a fluent exchange of information and data
  • Advising specialists and managers on personnel and labour law issues
  • Preparing and holding department-specific training courses on the subject of personnel
  • Participating in seminars/training sessions/meetings organised by the employer

Your profile:

  • (University) Degree in HR management or similar
  • At least 2-3 years of professional experience in the field of HR
  • Ideally management experience or leadership personality
  • Good knowledge of Belgian labour law, contract law and in payroll accounting
  • Languages: National languages + German or English
  • Solid knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
  • Hands-on mentality and confident manner
