At Transatel, you will be collaborating with the biggest names in telecoms, IoT, and consumer electronics across the world. You will be working with innovative Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs), as well as in the fast-developing connected objects services industry. Transatel works in the upstream phase of product development with high quality business-to-business relationships to ultimately achieve the goal of satisfying the end user.

Your mission :

The Account Manager will work to develop Transatel’s commercial wholesale activities in the UK operator market. Your role will consist of providing tailored assistance to various telecom operators in order to aid their development and help them become successful MVNOs quickly and easily.

Working under the supervision of the team leader, your responsibilities include:
  • Act as the intermediary between Transatel and the UK clients
  • Support their development and grow their business as a whole
  • Analyse performance and produce monthly reports
  • Carry out regular meetings with clients to review business and present Transatel’s new offers
  • Develop a strong relationship with the key stakeholders in our clients’ businesses
  • Assist in the daily management of the MVNO clients: invoicing, responding to requests, operational and marketing support, allocating tasks to internal teams for technical issues.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams: relaying market research, assisting in price reviewing comities and launching new products.
  • Organise and participate in national and international conferences 
It is anticipated that there will be an initial period of training where the individual learns about Transatel, its technology and its products, and initially will spend time shadowing existing members MVNA UK team. However, you will be expected to develop into a UK market expert with a detailed understanding of the UK mobile market including how mobile technology works, its evolutions and competitor mindfulness.

Your profile:

  • University graduate with experience in Business Development or Account Management
  • Preferred experience in IT or telecoms with an interest in the mobile telephone market
  • Able to work independently and perform effectively in high pressure environments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A strong interest in sales and natural disposition for business negotiations 
  • Minimum of one year of professional experience
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, French or German is a plus
This position is based in Paris (La Défense) with frequent travel to the UK.
