Our client is specialized in the supply of services to companies (construction sector), in particular in the distribution and rental of signaling, marking and safety of public works sites (e.g. road construction).  As a leading service provider in France, the company wants to expand its presence in the German market and is therefore looking for a :

Country Manager Germany, (m/f/d), bilingual DE/EN or DE/FR

Your mission 

You are a member of the Management Committee and report directly to the Chairman. In this role, you will be responsible for the activities of signalling, marking and safety of public construction sites (e.g. road building) for the region Germany. 
You will be responsible for leading and coordinating the activities of existing agencies in order to optimize their performance (both commercially and financially). You will expand the existing network by opening new offices/agencies.
You are truly operational-oriented. Your assignment will be to ensure a close field presence to support the branch managers and the activity.
With the support of an M&A advisor, you will select potential targets for new acquisitions. Together with the Group Chairman you will participate in the negotiations and be responsible for the integration of these targets

Your tasks

Design and implement the strategy in Germany for the coming years.


  • Develop the business 
  • Responsible for the growth and profitability of the business area
  • Responsible for the growth and profitability of the business area.
  • Manage local entities and achieve profitability targets
  • Contribute to the compliance of budgets and development plans in order to achieve the set objectives
  • Ensure the good reputation of the brand


  • Lead the managers of the branches and support the teams
  • Train and support the managers, especially during the opening of branches
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and management rules

Your profile

  • You have extensive experience (5 to 7 years ) in the public construction industry, ideally abroad or in managing international profit centers on behalf of agency networks
  • You have successfully completed a degree in economics, engineering or similar university studies
  • You enjoy working in an international and multicultural environment
  • You are customer-oriented, committed, dynamic and rigorous
  • You are able to listen and think ahead
  • You have the ability to lead and bring teams together
  • You are characterized by good interpersonal skills
  • You speak German ( native language) are business fluent in English or French
