Duties and Responsibilities

Ensure the accuracy of the monthly closings and liaise with Group’s finance department for the establishment of the Group consolidated Financial statements :
  • Provide on time the subsidiary financial package
  • Reconcile intercos position
  • Upload the monthly balance sheet and P&L position as well as the monthly flows into the Group consolidated IT system
  • Provide details on the monthly position and answer questions to stakeholders anytime needed
  • Accounting : in coordination with the external accounting firm :
  • Check and book invoices, prepare settlements, take care of customer and vendor accounts, 
  • Book accruals, depreciations and cut-off operations
  • Control accounts position
  • Take care of inventory movements
  • Prepare salaries and book holiday pay provision
  • Perform bank reconciliations and liaise with Group Treasury department to prepare remittances
  • Management control : 
  • Budget process animation for the subsidiary in coordination with the General Manager and the Group Finance Department
  • Forecast
  • Monthly variance analysis
  • Internal control : ensure efficiency of internal controls and put them in place where appropriate

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Accounting or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Pack Office.
  • One year of experience in Finance minimum.
  • Familiarity with business principles and practices.
  • Superior attention to detail.
  • Organizational, planning skills and problem-solving skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills. The work language is English, a good command of German is desired, French would be a plus. 
  • Outstanding understanding of IFRS rules and regulations.
  • Time management and prioritization skills
