We are seeking the Head of Quality - Manufacturing to join our growing organization. 

As Head of Quality - Manufacturing, you will be responsible for:

  • Lead the plant’s Total Quality Management.
  • Deploy the Global Quality strategy and deliver local objectives.
  • Ensure there is a strong quality organization in place to support the business.
  • Support, maintain and enhance the quality management system requirements and all other associated site and product approvals.
  • Lead cultural change in approach to quality across the site and develop a high performance culture within the teams
  • Drive a culture of learning, continuous improvement, and best practices to improve the effectiveness of the organization, the site quality system and the products quality.
  • Provides expertise and guidance in interpreting policies, regulatory and/or governmental regulations, and internal regulations to assure compliance.
  • Leads audit and inspection preparation, resolution of audit and inspection findings and liaises with auditing groups and inspectors through all stages of the audits.
  • Use quality engineering methods/techniques to ensure products released for distribution meet their intended performance requirements for safety, functionality and aspect.
  • Participate and provide technical support on Industrialisation and Methods teams.
  • Ensure new projects are delivered compliantly, on time and to budget.
  • Ensure the quality assurance processes and policies are maintained and modified regularly.
  • Lead supplier and customer quality assurance (internal/external).
  • Monitor and report Key Performance Indicators across all areas to ensure that all products are delivered to the highest quality standards.
  • Provide leadership: coach, mentor and develop the Quality team members to ensure success in their roles.

What you will need to be successful

  • Bachelor Degree in Quality, Engineering or similar education.
  • 5+ years of experience in a quality position.
  • Measurable achievement in Quality tool deployment and or CI tool deployment.
  • Experience driving change using LEAN concepts 
  • Working knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma experience required, SSGB or SSBB preferred.
  • Demonstrable significants achievements in terms of quality improvement via improved customer experience and reduced CNQ
  • Excellent  relationship  management  skills  with  the  ability  to  engage, negotiate  and  manage  key  stakeholders and  suppliers.
  • Proven  leadership  skills  with  the  ability  to  optimise  team performance,   development and cultural transformation.
