For its French client, who will be opening the second cultural center in Hamburg by spring 2024, we are looking for a :
Media Technology / AV Technology Manager (m/f/d), fluent in English, Arts & Culture, Hamburg

Your tasks:
- Preparing and ensuring the technical flow of events in the cultural venue as well as in virtual or hybrid settings (e.g. operation/maintenance/configuration of camera, image and audio technology, presentation media, room control systems, communication and collaboration tools).
- Responsible preparation and follow-up of events (e.g. coordination with the headquarters and project managers, coordination of the technical and spatial setups).
- Maximizing the potential of existing media technology (event technology / AV technology) and gadgets, including continuous development.
- Building and leading the technical team on site: you will build your own audiovisual team.
- Ensuring the proper and safe installation of exhibitions and events in the cultural venue.
Your profile:
- You have a technical or communication science degree (preferably in media or event technology) or technical training including relevant professional experience in event management and leading a small team
- You have good knowledge of the field of AV technology & multimedia, beamer and mapping techniques. Ideally, you are also familiar with network administration as well as audio equipment and stage lighting/software for light control (Sunlite, etc.).
- You speak fluent German and English; French is a plus.
- You have strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- You have a high digital and technical affinity and are interested in novel technologies.
- You have a pronounced service orientation as well as sensitivity and professional appearance in direct customer contact.
