HTi, a subsidiary of APSIDE that is specialised in the field of automotive engineering, currently employs more than 350 consultants who are working on R&D projects on behalf of international vehicle manufacturers and automotive suppliers.
Key Accountabilities:
- manage internal cross functional team for all Design and Engineering aspects (Product Design Engineer, Tool Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, GTS, etc)
- contribute with the Program Manager to the Program master schedule definition and tracking, by managing the critical path’s second level, i.e. part by part datas with all departments interactions
- lead the Product Development Process (study, verify, specify, validate, release) by using adequate Quality Development tools as Risk Analysis, Design-FMEA, Design Validation Plan and Problem solving methods, and by ensuring the respect of Legal requirements as well as customer and internal specifications
- manage Bought Out Parts (BOP) definition and ensure technical integration of suppliers
- coordinate the Engineering Change Management and follow-up the implementation of each change in all Engineering areas
- applies Group and Product Line standards following the Faurecia Excellence System (FES) and ensure that the PMS Engineering Key Deliverables deadlines are met
- monitor the Development progress through KPIs regular reports, including analyse, appropriate action plans and future risks and opportunities list
- manages a Program File in Product Data Management during all the Development phase, which will be used for transfer to the plant and Program closing
- liaise with industrial engineer so that product and process characteristics are under control when production is launched
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in automotive industry (design and development activities)
- knowledge of arcoustics and textile products: parcel tray, trunk side trim, loadfloor, trunk carpet
- OEM relationship experience
- knowledge of PSA and Renault APQP process
