The Seller recruitment team is at the heart of this ecosystem, enabling the fastest way for brands, retailers, distributors and resellers to accelerate online sales across Mirakl-powered marketplaces. As we continue to expand our portfolio of clients in the Southern Europe region, we are looking for a Senior Marketplace Business Developer to manage key sellers and partners on Mirakl powered third-party marketplaces within the Spanish market. The role will be based in Barcelona.

He/she will be responsible for :

Business development & commercial endeavors :
  • Is seen as a Business Development role model by one’s team as well as external and internal partners
  • Focuses on strategic/challenging vendors and acts as an escalation point for the team
  • Reaches the agreed-upon target of sellers onboarded on Connect per year
Business operations in Connect :
  • Perfectly masters and understands the Mirakl platform
  • Able to find the right approach in the context of complex seller onboarding
  • Is always up to date on new features
  • Can challenge clients to improve Mirakl configuration if needed
  • Proposes innovative / new solutions for better seller onboarding
  • Leads the local market by clearly articulating and promoting the vision, strategy and KPIs
  • Manages Partners for seller onboarding (contracts, oversight and KPIs)
Client impact :
  • Seen as a trusted advisor and Mirakl expert for the client’s Marketplace Executive team
  • Adapts mission’s frame to increase sellers conversion rate and coordinate with partners to meet client’s targets
  • Finds the right solutions tailored to client context and provides robust and customized recommendations
  • Leads weekly reporting and client meetings to present Seller Recruitment proposals and negotiate terms
  • Acts as an escalation point if needed between clients and internal stakeholders
Internal impact :
  • Identifies key project risks & opportunities (both business & functional)
  • Cross Functional project lead with Client Success, PAT, and Ecosystem teams
  • Partners with Head of Seller Recruitment in building the seller recruitment offering to serve clients and evolve ecosystem, and contribute to strategic planning
  • Empowers teams to automate processes
  • Designs long term solution to improve seller experience and increase team productivity

Your profile

  • Graduated a master’s degree in Business, Marketing or Finance,
  • Has a significant experience in Marketplace Business Development, Sales or Account Management,
  • Has strong communication and presentation skills,
  • Has appetite for commercial prospection and B2B relationships,
  • Is a highly business-driven individual who thrives in fast-paced dynamic environments,
  • Speaks Spanish and English fluently – any additional language will be a great asset (Italian, German).
