For a long-term project for one of our clients in Darmstadt (Germany), we are currently looking for:
(Senior) Software Engineers (m/f/d)

Your tasks
- You study, analyze and design software elements.
- You prepare test plans and specifications to verify the correct development, configuration and integration of data processing and formatting software elements.
- Additionally, you contribute to the development and evolution of data formatting and processing software.
- The integration and end-to-end testing of elements of the product generation in the ground segments is also part of your job.
- You advance and update software packages for reading and visualizing satellite data.
Your qualifications
- University degree in Computer Science or a related Engineering field.
- Demonstrable experience in IT software development, including system engineering and system design.
- Experience in using Java, C/C++, XML and HTML.
- Knowledge of Unix operating systems (Linux, AIX).
- Experience in using SCM methods and tools (e.g. Git, Subversion).
- Demonstrable experience in software system and integration testing as well as software documentation.
- Preferably experience in Earth Observation.
- High command of English; knowledge of French is an advantage.
You will be based in Munich, occasional travels within Germany are required.
