Our client is a French global leader specialized in the field of work safety and protection in an industrial context. It designs and produces innovative products for key players in the chemical, pharmaceutical and metal industry.

What to expect

You closely work with the Business Developer and actively develop the sales strategy on the German market. 
  • Sale of innovative products: You sell a large range of environmental products that enables your B2B customers to ensure safe working conditions for their employees throughout the entire research and production process. You also act as a proactive interface between customers and the internal R&D and marketing department. Whether at the customer's site or at trade fairs, you always represent the company and its products and strive to build long-term and trusting business relationships.  
  • Acquisition of new customers: You are responsible for the expansion of sales on the German territory. You will be supported by the team (business developer, marketing and engineering) for the acquisition of new clients. Acting as a competent sales consultant at the customer's site, you collect their requirements and offer the appropriate products. You also conduct on-site product training.
  • Interface with the sales office in Cologne: Regular meetings and reports.

What we’re looking for 

  • A degree in Sales or Chemistry / Technical medicine and a high affinity for technical products 
  • A first successful experience in sales, ideally in an industrial context
  • You are a salesperson at heart, hands-on and autonomous 
  • Negotiating skills, strong communication skills, empathy and persuasiveness
  • very good command of German and of French or English
  • Willingness to travel all over Germany

Good to know

  • An exciting position which offers you the opportunity to work autonomously in an international team where values such as consideration and communication are of great importance. 
  • A full-time position (after a successful 6-month probationary period), to fill as soon as possible
  • A home office position preferably in the NRW area with business trips in Germany and regular meetings in Cologne and Liège.
  • Salary package according to your profile + company car + home office equipment.
