The division KOSTAL Automotive Electrical Systems is responsible for the development, production and distribution of components, modules and systems for the electrical, electronic and mechatronic technology in car bodies.

For our French sales office in Guyancourt, Ile-de-France, we are looking for a(n) (Bilingual) Assistant Human Resources & Administration (m/f/d) as a replacement due to retirement.

Your tasks:

  • Independent operational support of our currently 11 employees with regard to human resources management tasks in compliance with legal provisions, collective agreements and company regulations in close coordination with the German Managing Director and the responsible HR Business Partner of the German headquarter
  • Support in the preparation of monthly payroll accounting by our external payroll service provider as well as monthly social security and tax returns
  • Preparation and implementation of HR-related tasks within the scope of labour and social security law in close cooperation with external bodies such as health insurance companies, authorities, associations, lawyers, etc.
  • Supporting the management and implementation of the (local) recruitment and selection process of qualified professionals 
  • First point of contact for staff-related enquiries 
  • Ongoing management of electronic personnel files
  • Administrative support of the Managing Director with regard to the organization of meetings, events and business trips as well as the compilation of information
  • Supporting the organization of business trips and preparing travel expense reports for the entire team in SAP
  • Preparing and implementing administrative tasks ranging from managing business correspondence and pool vehicles to procuring office supplies and services, tracking budgets and auditing invoices

Your qualifications:

  • Master or Bachelor with a focus on human resource management, alternatively vocational training (bac +2) with relevant further training
  • Professional experience in a comparable position in an industrial company (metallurgie)
  • Extensive knowledge of labour law, collective agreement law and social security law
  • Proficient use of English and French (level C2), ideally complemented by good German skills (B2 or higher) - applications for this position need to be in English!
  • General office and computer skills, focusing on MS Office (especially Word and Excel) and SAP, e-mail, internet and modern communication tools (e.g. Zoom)
  • High degree of independence, proactivity and flexibility
  • Strong communication skills and organizational talent
