The Electronic Components Purchasing Manager will be responsible for activities of sourcing, supplier evaluation, price negotiation and involved with procuring electronic components, in support of Quality Department, R&D and Industrial Department.
Below are the mains missions of the role:
- Develop, lead and execute pre-sourcing strategy for electronic components
- Preselect potential new suppliers and manage direct supplier relationships
- Support suppliers in process Audits
- Manage PCN (Product Change Notice) of component centralization
- Manage the obsolete components risk
- Pre-validate technical components (Final components validation remains under R&D Responsibility)
- Define and follow-up of critical components (Technic and Purchase (Capacity / Lead Time))
- Propose an update of L-Acoustics and CAMCO Electronics data base (PAD in Marcoussis & Altium for Camco) review
- Propose a cost saving action plan and follow-up
- Deal with Components manufacturers and distributor channel at group Level (Pricing in France / Germany)
- Provide Support to Quality Department, R&D and Industrial Department
- Work on serial life with support from times to time to R&D and identification of alternatives components (price, availability, capacity)
What you need to be successful
- Engineering Degree in Electronics (or equivalent) with Purchasing specialization
- Minimum 5 – 8 years of experience in electronics purchasing with sourcing expertise
- Demonstrated suppliers management
- Team player with strong inter-personal communication
- Strong problem-solving, analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent in German and English
