Job description / Tasks:
- Contribution to the strategic and operational development of the research field thermochemical conversion of carbonaceous feedstocks. The research focus is on the target molecules H2, CO2 and CO
- Collaboration in interdisciplinary teams, execution and management of internal and external research projects
- Evaluation of thermochemical processes and systems as well as their application and demonstration
- Ensure scale up of new concepts through design of pilot units as well as evaluation of experimental data
- Ensuring a close cooperation with internal and external customers, academics and start-ups accompanies the innovative growth of the working area
Competencies:
- Masters degree in chemical/process engineering or technical chemistry (preferred with PhD)
- In depth experience in the field of heterogeneous catalysis, reaction engineering or comparable subject areas
- Very good analytical and strategic competencies
- High level of self-initiative as well as creativity for new solutions and open mind-set
- Preferably first experiences as project engineer or project manager
- Strong communication abilities and enjoying to work in heterogeneous teams
