Le Tanneur, famous fine leather goods Maison founded in 1898, is very well known for its premium accessories.

The brand represents a proud tradition of style, quality and craftsmanship.

The company seeks to preserve the heritage and identity of the brand.

We are looking for a Wholesale Manager for Le Tanneur, based in Germany.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

1) BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT:
  • Constantly look for new business opportunities to introduce the brand on the German market and increase its penetration among multi-brand stores, specialty stores and department stores
  • Review bi-monthly selling for all major accounts and actively support the development of the business by proposing reorders
  • Develop sales & marketing actions within key accounts doors (special projects, pop-up, capsules, etc)
  • Wholesale back-office activities (order entry and processing, archiving, etc)
  • Travel and prospection 
2) ANALYSIS:
  • Prepare sales forecast and regularly review to ensure targets are met
  • Define seasonal quali-quantitative OTB by door, country and SKU to be approved by International Director
  • Prepare seasonal market analysis and product assortment
3) PRODUCT AND MARKET KNOWLEDGE:
  • Review and feedback on sales activity and market needs
  • Prepare and review seasonal pricing analysis and competitors analysis by Region
  • Review competitors activities and identify best practices
  • Prepare seasonal SWOT analysis by product category
4) VISUAL MERCHANDISING:
  • Ensure guidelines and standards are executed within all wholesale accounts
  • Challenge floor stock and fill in the store as required
  • Participate to merchandising of all new shop in shops
  • Ensure Partners’ stores always meet the brand standards for image and visual guidelines
5) COMMUNICATION AND CONDUCT:
  • Act as an ambassador for the Company
  • Develop strong partnerships and maintain excellent interpersonal skills with all retailers

PROFILE:

  • 6-8 years of experience in Sales; a previous experience in the Luxury industry will be considered a plus
  • The candidate already has a portfolio of clients within the accessories/fashion industry
  • Strong communication skills to build strong relationship within the brand and with partners
  • Analytical skills and good mastery of Excel
  • Proactive and versatile, self-starter and intuitive
  • Fluent in English
