We are seeking a passionate, experienced, and detail-oriented Retail Operations Project Manager to cover a maternity leave. This is a critical role within our dynamic Retail Excellence Department, responsible for driving the optimization and efficiency of our worldwide retail operations through effective project management, technology evolution and deployment, development and implementation of operational guidelines, and rigorous control of compliance rules.
The candidate will play a pivotal role in evaluating, championing and implementing solutions that directly impact our retail and franchise stores, ensuring seamless operations and compliance across our global network.

Nous recherchons un chef de projet opérations commerciales passionné, expérimenté et soucieux du détail pour remplacer une collaboratrice en congé maternité. Il s'agit d'un poste clé au sein de notre dynamique département Excellence commerciale, chargé de piloter l'optimisation et l'efficacité de nos opérations commerciales à l'échelle mondiale grâce à une gestion de projet efficace, à l'évolution et au déploiement technologiques, à l'élaboration et à la mise en œuvre de directives opérationnelles, ainsi qu'au contrôle rigoureux des règles de conformité.
Le candidat jouera un rôle central dans l'évaluation, la promotion et la mise en œuvre de solutions ayant un impact direct sur nos magasins de détail et nos franchises, en garantissant la fluidité des opérations et la conformité à travers notre réseau mondial.
Job responsibilities
1)Retail IT Solutions:
- Drive the prioritization of IT business roadmap initiatives, ensuring alignment with retail operational goals.
- Oversee and orchestrate the development and implementation of retail IT projects across various internal departments and regions, ensuring timely delivery and effective communication.
- Conduct thorough User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new and updated IT solutions, ensuring operational readiness.
- Proactively propose solution improvement needs based on user feedback and operational performance .
- Conduct "train the trainer" sessions for regional key users to ensure effective knowledge transfer and widespread adoption .
- Coordinate with other departments on their solution interface (omnichannel, client care), ensuring integrated and cohesive system functionality.
- Manage the yearly roadmap for critical retail applications, including strategic planning for migrations to new solutions.
2)Retail Guidelines & Compliance:
- Lead the yearly revamp of the Store Handbook, ensuring it reflects best practices and current regulations.
- Coordinate and supervise Store Audits with internal control to ensure operational excellence and unwavering compliance across all regions.
- In coordination with internal control, rigorously control cycle counts and inventories results and stock discrepancy documentation. Ensure stringent control and strict application of POS/AML compliance and discount policies.
3)Retail Back-of-House (BOH) Operations:
- Monitor supplies and consumables essential in regions for the smooth operation of points of sale, coordinating with product, procurement, and supply teams.
- Coordinate the development design and management flow of store uniforms, optimizing consistency across the network.
4)Safety, Hygiene & Compliance:
- Proactively supervise and ensure the implementation and adherence to internal safety, hygiene, and overall compliance protocols within retail environments.
Profile
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in luxury store management and retail operations, demonstrating a deep understanding of store needs and multi-region retail dynamics.
- Strong understanding and mastery of complex retail compliance topics, including POS and stock management. Proficiency as a CEGID user is a significant plus.
- Proven track record of success in project management, specifically managing complex initiatives within a global retail or IT environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to independently manage and prioritize multiple complex projects simultaneously within tight deadlines.
- A proactive problem-solver with a strong ability to identify, analyze, and implement operational improvements that yield tangible results.
- Demonstrated sense of service excellence, effectively operating as a key supporting function to regional retail operations managers and an international network of retail and franchise stores.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with diverse senior-level teams (IT, retail, procurement, product, Internal Control, etc.) across different cultures and time zones. English is a must. Other languages such as German, French, or Chinese are a significant plus.
- Based in Paris, offering a critical global supporting role for 5 regions (Americas, EMEA, APAC, Greater China, Japan).
- Duration: replacement for maternity leave.
