We are seeking an entrepreneurial Sales Manager for France to drive the commercial development of our high-temperature industrial heat pump solutions . This is a highly autonomous business development role focused on identifying new opportunities, engaging complex industrial customers, and building a strong market presence in France.

The role involves navigating large industrial organizations and complex technical sales cycles, working with engineering teams, and supporting customers through early-stage technical simulations before progressing to onsite discussions and project development.

This role is based in France and offered as a fully remote position under a French employment contract.

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Drive new business development in France for high-temperature industrial heat pump solutions.
  • Identify, approach, and develop relationships with industrial customers and decision-makers.
  • Manage complex technical B2B sales cycles, often involving large organizations and multiple stakeholders.
  • Conduct initial customer discussions remotely, followed by deeper technical engagement supported by internal engineering teams.
  • Coordinate with internal experts to support technical simulations and feasibility discussions for potential projects.
  • Travel to customer sites to advance opportunities and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Represent the company at relevant industry conferences and events (typically one major conference per year).
  • Collaborate closely with remote commercial and technical teams in the UK and Norway, as well as the German office.
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities within the French industrial and energy sectors.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Fluency in French and English.
  • 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or commercial roles within a technical environment.
  • Basic technical understanding of HVAC systems, heat pumps, thermodynamics, or related thermal technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an outgoing, relationship-oriented personality.
  • Ability to work independently in an autonomous role while collaborating with distributed teams.
  • Willingness to travel within France and occasionally internationally.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience in HVAC, industrial heating and cooling, energy systems, or refrigeration technologies.
  • Engineering background or relevant technical education.
  • Experience selling into large industrial organizations with complex decision-making processes.
  • Experience in technical solution selling that involves collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Location in North-East France to facilitate proximity to the German office (preferred but not required).
