Your main goal will be to drive both pre-sales and post-sales technical success — from discovery and proof of concept (POC) to deployment, adoption, and expansion — ensuring customers realize the full value of n8n.
Lead discovery calls and demos to showcase n8n’s capabilities and align solutions with client needs.
Design and guide client POCs, ensuring smooth execution, measurable success, and seamless handover to post-sales teams.
Support implementation and integration to ensure fast time-to-value, while creating materials that empower clients to scale independently.
Act as a trusted advisor and main technical contact, fostering long-term partnerships and identifying expansion opportunities.
Collaborate across teams to refine processes, share customer insights, and contribute to scalable sales and success resources.
Hybrid Sales Engineering Experience: 6+ years in a customer-facing technical role (Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Customer Success Engineer) within B2B SaaS.
Excellent Communication Skills: Strong ability to explain complex concepts clearly to both technical and business audiences.
Commercial Acumen: Deep understanding of SaaS sales cycles, customer value realization, and retention drivers.
Relationship Building: Proven success fostering long-term relationships with enterprise technical stakeholders.
Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of APIs, OAuth, and experience with Docker / Kubernetes / JavaScript.
Startup Experience: Thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments.
Flexibility: Open to travel and team onboarding sessions in NYC as needed.
Advanced Technical Background: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical field.
Community Engagement: Active contributor to tech or open-source communities.
Product Knowledge: Familiarity with n8n or similar workflow automation / integration platforms.
Data-Driven Mindset: Skilled at using data to drive process improvements and measure customer outcomes.
