For our Product Group Separation Systems within Sartorius Stedim Biotech GmbH, we are currently looking for a Strategic Product Manager - Filtration & TFF Systems (x|f|m). This is a full-time position based at our headquarters in Göttingen, with the option to work remotely on certain days. Alternatively, the position can also be filled in Aubagne (F), Havant (UK), or at another Sartorius location. The owner of this role is accountable for a highly‑visible portfolio and is expected to drive strategic portfolio management, data‑driven decisions, and disciplined prioritization. In this role, seamless communication across customers, commercial teams, and technical product development is essential to ensure alignment and business success, thus, to shape the future with us.
Grow with us – Your Responsibilities
Own portfolio vision and roadmap, setting priorities based on customer insights, market data, and financial impact
Lead end-to-end product execution, from idea to launch and lifecycle management, driving growth and profitability
Translate customer and market intelligence into actionable business cases and strategic decisions
Expand into new markets, identifying opportunities, defining entry strategies, and mitigating scale-up risks
Define value proposition and strategic pricing, ensuring clear differentiation and competitive positioning
Monitor performance and forecast demand, aligning operations on volumes, mix, and exceptions
Influence senior stakeholders, managing complex networks, delivering executive-ready recommendations
Mentor Product Managers, strengthening processes and portfolio governance
What will convince us
Successfully completed Master's degree in Business Administration, Life Science, Engineering, or a related field
Extensive Life Science experience, including several years in complex customer-facing roles and multi-functional exposure (R&D, Operations, Sales, Marketing)
Proven track record and long-term experience in Product Management with strong drive for innovation and growth
Successful execution of at least one major product launch end-to-end, including market introduction, life-cycle management, and post-launch support
Strong strategic thinking and commercial acumen, able to make timely, data-driven decisions
Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills across internal and external networks
Business fluent in English, German skills will be a plus
Willingness to travel (up to 50%)
