Summary of Role
We are seeking a Supply Chain Sustainability Expert at the Principal Consultant or Senior Consultant level to support the growing global demand for supply chain sustainability, transparency, and responsible sourcing.
Global clients are looking for solutions to address human rights and environmental risk within their supply chains, or increasing supplier engagement across key sustainability topics including Scope 3 and decarbonization, human rights and labor rights, environmental management, and industry-specific sourcing requirements.
As our leading clients set more ambitious sustainability goals and policies, they can no longer just focus on their own company operations. Engaging the supply chain is a challenging but critical area for companies to drive environmental and social transformation, and clients are increasingly seeking support to design and deploy effective supplier engagement programs.
As a key subject matter expert in the Circularity and Value Chain Transformation Business Line, you will support clients across industries in:
- Leading regulatory readiness and gap assessments.
- Developing due diligence policies and strategies.
- Conducting value chain mapping and supply chain risk assessments.
- Designing risk mitigation programs.
- Developing strategic approaches to supplier engagement as a cornerstone of supply chain decarbonization.
The successful candidate will have an outstanding track record helping companies develop effective supplier engagement strategies, working directly with suppliers to gather information, understand expectations from a customer-supplier perspective, and demonstrated experience with supply chain due diligence requirements – both voluntary (e.g., Sedex, Ecovadis, etc.) and regulatory (e.g., UFLPA, CSDDD, EUDR, etc.).
Our ideal candidate possesses both consulting and in-house experience in one or more of the following sectors: technology, retail and consumer goods, healthcare, food and beverage, and demonstrates an ability to work closely with client teams to educate, influence, and provide guidance to support achievement of responsible sourcing, supply chain due diligence, and/or supplier engagement programs.
The Supply Chain Sustainability Principal or Senior Consultant will collaborate with colleagues across Anthesis's global business lines—including Climate, ESG Strategy and Reporting, and Circularity & Value Chain Transformation—to deliver expertise on value chain solutions.
You will help clients understand their interrelated value chain risks, dependencies, impacts, and opportunities across priority tiers and sourcing regions.
Your work will span diverse industries, from Fortune 500 companies to boutique brands, requiring engagement with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders (employees, investors, associations, and NGOs) worldwide.

You will work to develop a trusted advisor relationship with all clients and focus relentlessly on helping them be successful in defining and achieving their sustainability goals.
- Mentorship – Provide guidance and technical oversight to junior and senior consultants, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
