For our Group Marketing Department, we are looking for a Group Field Marketing Specialist to support the group’s field marketing across Europe for Fischer Connectors and Wearin’ in helping the brands shine at strategic defense and medical industry events, co-designing the demos that turn visitors into opportunities, and equipping Sales teams with the resources they need to win business.
WHAT YOU WILL DO IN YOUR ROLE
As part of the Group Marketing team, you contribute to and execute the European field marketing plan, always in close coordination with the Group Head of Marketing, Sales teams and the Digital Marketing Specialist. This includes:
- Support the group’s presence at major European Defense, Medical and industrial trade shows (Eurosatory, DSEI, IDEX, MD&M, electronica, Milipol,…): co-define the annual events roadmap and budget with the Group Head of Marketing and Sales, then run day-to-day execution, stand brief and design, agency coordination, logistics, on-site team, demo planning, pre- and post-show campaigns
- Help drive systematic post-event lead exploitation: CRM upload, qualification, Sales handover, follow-up campaigns and ROI measurement (pipeline generated, opportunities signed)
- Co-design memorable demo scenarios that turn Fischer Connectors and Wearin’ technical features into vertical stories (Defense, Medical, First Responders), and train European Sales teams on storytelling, objection handling and competitive positioning
- Brief the Digital Marketing Specialist on field needs and co-build vertical editorial calendars; capture and formalize field insights (customer verbatims, recurring objections, competitive signals)
- Localize global campaigns to key European markets (France, UK, DACH, Italy, Nordics), coordinate distributors and local Sales, and help activate specialized B2B press alongside the Group PR Manager
- Collaborate occasionally with US and APAC marketing teams for global shows, and track KPIs per event
THE EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS YOU WILL BRING
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Business or equivalent
- 3+ years’ experience in B2B marketing (work-study / apprenticeship accepted), with exposure to event and trade-show management and/or sales enablement
- A genuine field marketer mindset: you enjoy being on the ground, talking to customers, listening to Sales and making things happen
- English C1, daily working language with US, UK, Germany and global Sales teams
- Command of modern marketing tools
- Frequent travel across European events
WHAT WILL PUT YOU AHEAD
- Knowledge of Defense or industrial B2B sectors (long sales cycles, public tenders, technical requirements)
- A third European language (German, Italian)
- Prior experience in a technical B2B events agency or industrial marketing
- Operational excellence, attention to detail and creativity
- Endurance, positive energy and strong intercultural skills
- Eager to learn fast and grow alongside an experienced Group Head of Marketing
